What a ride this course has been.
This course felt like stepping into a living, breathing story—one that blurred the lines between technology and creativity, past and present, theory and practice.
The course invited us to write, remix, reflect, and question in equal measure. It was like sitting around a digital campfire, listening to stories echoing from the printing press to the latest TikTok trend, and asking: what’s next?
One of the most unexpected in depth pieces was the AI-generated selfie assignment. At first, I thought, “Ok, this will be fun.” But it ended up digging way deeper. Playing with AI as a mirror forced me to ask uncomfortable questions: What part of me is me? What part is an algorithm’s guess? Where does identity begin when it’s filtered through pixels and machine learning? Somehow, a simple selfie turned into a meditation on digital selfhood.
Beyond the modules, what really stuck with me was the sense that we’re all part of a larger unfolding narrative—writers, editors, and publishers of our own digital lives. This course helped me see my own work, whether in music, marketing, or performance, through a new lens. Digital tools aren’t just platforms—they’re part of the story now. And as artists, we have the power (and the challenge) to use them with care, with intention, and with curiosity.
So, as we close the book on this term, I’m not really finished. I’m just… turning the digital page.
