Digital Literacy Snapshot-Regina

I still remember the thrill of sending my first digital message on Viber—my tiny window into a much bigger world. Back then, it wasn’t about likes or followers; it was about staying connected in the simplest way. When I got my first smartphone, it felt like holding the universe in my hands. Instagram became my diary, where I poured out my thoughts and snapshots of life, while YouTube was my escape, a place to watch and dream. But with time came lessons—losing an Instagram account taught me the value of protecting my digital presence, and oversharing on TikTok showed me the weight of privacy. Deleting everything was hard, but it gave me clarity. My journey through these platforms wasn’t just about learning to use them—it was about understanding myself, finding balance, and growing into a more mindful digital storyteller.

  1. Hi Regina!
Great video production!! I really enjoyed watching it, and it introduced me to new apps like Viber! I never considered how internet cost and speed would impact our digital usage; it makes sense, but before your video it wasn't something I gave much thought to. Thank you for such an awesome video!
