Creating this digital literacy video was quite the journey! My main takeaway was how complex and ever-changing my relationship with the digital world has been. I’ve always felt a bit behind the digital media scene, evidenced by things like always joining apps late and never having as much interest in them as others. Still, ironically, a lot of my current life revolves around the digital world, either by studying it or working within it. In a way, I am grateful for my digital hesitancy as it allowed me to develop a more realistic, cautious, and informed sense of the digital world. I also realized that I have a lot of work to do to reconcile my love of social media with my personal use of it. (If anyone has any tips for this, I’d love to hear them!) All in all, it's been quite a digital learning journey for me up until this point, and I am both nervous and yet excited to see what the future brings!
