My experience in the New Media Narratives course has been nothing short of transformative. It was an amazing journey filled with joy, discovery, and valuable insights into the evolving landscape of digital storytelling and technology. As I reflect on the course, I am grateful for the knowledge gained, the challenges faced, and the unwavering support of our instructor, Jessica Lacetti. Throughout the course, I delved into various topics that expanded my understanding of new media and its impact on our lives. One of the most intriguing aspects was exploring the role of AI in shaping narratives and digital experiences. Learning about AI's capabilities and its implications for storytelling was both interesting and enlightening. The assignments focused on techobiophilia and the digital journey provided a hands-on experience that allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios. These assignments were not only engaging but also provided valuable insights and experiences that enriched my learning journey.
However, along with the joy of discovery, I encountered some challenges along the way. One of the main challenges was navigating the technical aspects of the course, such as assignment submission and logging into blogging platforms. At times, I felt confused about where to submit each assignment and struggled with accessing the blogging platform. Fortunately, I received invaluable support from our instructor, Jessica Lacetti. Despite the difference in time zones, Jessica was always available to assist and clarify any doubts or questions I had. Her willingness to schedule meetings and patiently explain concepts made a significant difference in overcoming these challenges and staying engaged in the course.
Looking back, I am grateful for the holistic learning experience provided by the New Media Narratives course. It not only deepened my understanding of new media concepts but also equipped me with practical skills and experiences that will be valuable in my future endeavors. The course has reinforced the importance of embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. Moving forward, I am excited to apply the knowledge and insights gained from this course in my personal and professional journey, with a renewed appreciation for the evolving landscape of new media and storytelling.
