I've chosen Identity, Representation & #Selfies as the theme for my Pinterest board to dig into how selfies plays an essential role in my life. To begin with, selfie is originated from self- portraiture existed for centuries by famous artist Andy Warhol, Vincent an Goah. Nowadays, selfie is ubiquitous in the social media, given that it links with individual's racial and cultural identity because of the development of social media like Tiktok and Instagram. What is more, selfie enables people to tell out the stories and serve as mirror for individuals to reflect themselves. Selfie also serves as strong weapon for marginalized people to advocate for equal rights. Also, AI-selfies flooded in the social media right now for its artistic style.

Pin3 Exploring the Self through AI: The New Frontier of Self-Portraiture
The third pin shows an AI-image of my selfie by TIktkok. As Tatum states that "Some users with dark skin said they saw more glitches and distortions in their avatars than their light-skinned friends did, reinforcing concerns about equity in artificial intelligence imaging." This creative reinterpretation demonstrates that AI-selfie is almost same as selfie, however, it also creates the difference that my real skin is not that white. This AI-generated self-portrait opens a window into the future of personal expression. Merging cutting-edge technology with the ancient practice of self-representation, AI challenges our traditional notions of art and identity.
